Francisca Garcia
Member of the Klein Technique™ Teacher Certification Program

Francisca Garcia, originally from Chile, moved to Paris to study dance, and then to New York City, where she has been living and studying dance for the past eight years. During this time she was introduced to Klein Technique™ and has been studying it for the past 5 years.

As a dancer and choreographer, Klein Technique™ has caused profound changes in her dancing and understanding of movement in general. It has given her the opportunity to truly connect to her own body, through everyday practice, as a never-ending journey of self-discovery. By understanding the connections in the body, and experiencing them, Klein Technique™ has become something that affects her entire being, and something that she applies to the rest of my life.

In addition to being a dancer, she is a certified Gyrotonic Instructor. Klein Technique™ has tremendously influenced the way she teaches Gyrotonic. Overall, understanding the way that the body works, by following simple and clear directions, Klein Technique™ is a true gift: the beginning of a true dialogue between mind and body, where they will learn to work together, achieving better concentration. Klein Technique™ is absolutely personal and intimate; it has changed Francisca¹s life as well as her body, given her a sense of calm and confidence that she didn¹t have before, and made her dancing a lot easier than what it was. She is grateful to have encountered this in her life, and would therefore be very happy to introduce the Technique to others. Francisca is a member of the Teacher Certification Program in Klein Technique™.
