Athena Malloy: Instructor of Klein Technique™

Athena Malloy has been teaching Klein Stretch and Placement™at the Susan Klein School of Movement and Dance since 1994. She has also been a guest teacher at The Trisha Brown Studio and State University of New York at Purchase where she received her Bachelors in Fine Arts Degree in Dance. Athena was a company member of Rose Anne Spradlin Dance from 2000-2004. In 2003 she won a New York Dance and Performance Bessie Award for her performance in Ms. Spradlin's Underworld. In addition to her work as a teacher, dancer, and choreographer, Athena has a healing arts practice in Brooklyn, N.Y. Athena was a member of the first Teacher Certification Program in Klein Technique™ and became a Certified Teacher in Klein Technique™ in 2000.
